DESCRIPTION:

This material is commonly known by its brand name of Lexan. Polycarbonates are strong, stiff, hard, tough, transparent engineering thermoplastics that can maintain rigidity up to 140 C and toughness down to -20 C.

USAGE:

In recent years PC blends have become increasingly commercially important. A common brand is LEXAN. This is found in a variety of electrical products. It is Also used for food service products. For example, machine guards, sneeze guards, food covers.
